Music From the Fringe Composition Project
Music from the fringe composition project is a three day collaboration of four cellists, two composers, a remote viewing director, an analyst facilitator, and an artistic director. The process will culminate in a premiere performance of a composition in four movements for cello choir. This piece will be created through a unique compositional process which includes the practice of remote viewing.
The remote viewing process will be used to create the raw musical material which will then be refined and molded into finished form by the two composers with the help of the remote viewing cellists.
The four remote viewing cellists will be joined by four additional cellists for rehearsal and performance on the final day.
